Duties: Design and develop business features and integration with vendor platforms. Responsible for ETL development and DevOps engineering to support the technology needs of the business and track metrics to gauge DevOps maturity and effectiveness. Implement secure and appropriate monitoring tools and work with the existing Application Development and Infrastructure teams to setup infrastructure and maintain applications. Design, analyze, develop, and test and support platforms working closely with business partners to resolve and remediate any production issues. Deliver diverse and inclusive software solutions in line with the firm’s current technology infrastructure and coding standards. Develop monitoring solutions and alerting features for production issues. Automate unit, functional and regression test cases for continuous integration and minimize manual effort. Develop processes to automate the code deployments using Jenkins, Liquibase, and other tools. Enhance existing application suite with current tools and technologies. Follow agile principles like Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning etc. for daily work routine. Work closely with users to understand business requirements and develop and showcase working strategic solutions. Collaborate with application support to implement and deploy solutions to support the strategic trust platform.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, DevOps Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience.
