Chase Merchant Services is embarking on a major business modernization program for industry leading user experience. A major component of this effort is a build-out of suite of features that will protect Merchants and JPMorgan Chase & Co in building payment flows which are flexible and scalable way, with the objective of being trusted and secure payment partner.

The Product Owner – Tokenization, optimization and risk solutions will build and maintain roadmap for solutions with responsibility to follow through on execution on global scale. Person should have the ability to work efficiently with technology partners with focus on suite of APIs and services helping to build global solutions for merchants to optimize and secure payment processing. This includes being a leader in describing benefits of token processing, driving payment flow optimization and reducing risk in payments.

Secure and easy to work with payment experience for our clients is top of mind, and person in this role needs to be able to create and drive approaches that help our Clients to achieve both. Services are enabled and consumed via a comprehensive developer portal, alongside other related APIs from across JPMorgan Chase.

The client experience of doing business with Merchant Services rests largely with ease to use services, and simple integrations. Building these solutions and services requires collaboration with Clients and their representatives to ensure we’re delivering valuable services in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Drive Design and build process for application interfaces that meet customer needs, delivered through a firm wide developer portal.

Drive global product delivery and experience

Drive client experience through new APIs to by continually enhance the client experience and create new business opportunities

Drive initiatives for payment optimization, risk solutions and new payment approaches

Ensure completeness and quality of services delivered in a scalable fashion, working with Product Owners in other areas for a cohesive client experience.

Supporting artefacts for easy consumption, including documentation, use cases and examples

Contribute to the financial success of product outcome, involved in pricing strategy for product/services.

Support for internal teams for products covered, including training and artefacts

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Passion for delivering business value by creating excellent products

Experience in working with APIs

Strong background in payments including acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments

Talent for communication of complex business topics

Demonstrated ability to drive business results while meeting strict controls and compliance requirements

Ability to drive continuous improvement through an agile framework

Experience participating in agile delivery

Knowledge in payment tokenization solutions or account updater solutions

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Positive and proactive

Excellent time management and prioritization skill

Preferences

Experience of scalable federated development platforms

Interest in User Experience and Design Thinking
