As an experienced Infrastructure Support professional, your relentless dedication to innovation will have a positive ripple effect on both innovation and the people who make it. You’ll put your experience to work across the board, leading an incredibly talented team in areas like change management, incident management, and problem management. You’ll be responsible for management communication and client relationship management. You’ll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team’s functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with our overall strategy. You’ll oversee areas like incident management, change management, impact identification, management communication, risk and controls, client relationship management, service improvement, discovery/gathering/documenting of business needs, data and requirements. You’ll coach, manage and mentor people, both in-house and in working collaboration with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Expertise in service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and interdependencies
* Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management
* Advanced knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
* Ability to set and drive the business’ strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs
* Knowledge of financial control and budget management

Skills Required
* Manage the change control function within the environment
* Manage any projects you own and provide regular updates to the PMO team
* Maintaining a deep understanding of technology solutions and keeping up to date on industry trends.
* Replay playbooks from other technology groups to use within the lab space (so an integral understanding of the most often used infrastructure technologies is essential).
* Coordinate setup of hardware and software for both standard and nonstandard technologies within the firm.
* Help other team members to create instructional guidelines and principles for the environment.
* Recommend policies and processes for use in the lab based on your experience
* Generate and identify potential problems before they impact project deadlines.
* Work well in an ambiguous and changing environment.

Technical Skills:
* Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills in networking utilizing traces where necessary is a plus.
* Experience designing and implementing IT infrastructure with expert knowledge of hardware and supporting platforms / IAAS environments.
* Strong technology troubleshooting skills and proven ability to resolve infrastructure issues, incompatibilities, etc.
* Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills on highly complex problems
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience in IT infrastructure / systems administration
* Experience coordinating / supporting IT business processes
* DevOps experience a plus

Certifications
* VCP or equivalent a plus.
* MCSE or Microsoft Certified expert certificates or equivalent a plus.
