This role is the Technical Strategy and Technical Product owner space for the Data and Analytics platform – Galaxy. Galaxy is expanding to other LOB’s in 2021 and this position will build expand platform to scale and adapt to the growing business.
Responsibilities include :
Provide vision and strategy for expanding our analytics infrastructure & capabilities for business, analytics and decision science teams
Provide technical oversight & governance in the sourcing, distribution and consumption data from strategic sources by quant and analytics teams
Liaise with other LOB’s for articulating technical requirements for platform integration and SOR’s for data sourcing.
Manage the BoW and budget for the end-to-end WM Data platform in addition to the Technical Product responsibilities of the Data Galaxy Platform.
Managerial responsibilities of the PMO across the WM Data Platform
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* 10+ years of experience in Product Management (Software and Data areas preferred)
* Experience working within a global organization and driving organizational transformation, ideally with one which is now mature at managing its IT Product and Services
* Strong influencing skills and an ability to overcome barriers and resistance
* Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
* Ability to build strong relationships and leverage people networks throughout the firm
* Proficient in the following:
+ Strategy Creation and Deployment
+ Product Portfolio management
+ Product Investment and Budget / Financial management
+ Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change management
+ Conflict Resolution
+ In-depth knowledge of at least one technology discipline (e.g. Software delivery)
+ Ability to build a culture of innovation
+ Strategic planning and execution
