Duties: Perform requirement gathering, analysis, estimation, architecture design, development and implementation of new business needs. Partner with product owner and key stakeholders to deliver creative solutions providing business value, efficiency & process improvements. Work on application development using Java, J2EE, JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Oracle and PL/SQL. Modify existing software to fix bugs, adapt to new platforms and environments, and improve its performance. Collaborate with the other teams to deliver integrated solutions with a focus on Client experience. Design and implement features and applications using object-oriented software. Follow Agile and Test-Driven development methodologies. Design and implement workflows using JBPM and business rules using Drools. Develop messaging services using IBM MQ, JMS. Develop User Interface using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Develop scheduling jobs using Autosys and Spring Scheduler. Communicate with team members and other teams to understand specific system requirements. Train other teams to make them familiar to develop their own workflows. Implement Web services. Automate build and deployment scripts. Research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. Provide technical guidance and support for the development and troubleshooting of systems. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Communicate project information through presentations, and technical reports. Coordinate installation of software releases, monitor performance of application post implementation. Write Junit tests. Review work of other engineers, technologists within and outside team. Research and implement Proof of Concepts (POC).


Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Technology, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or related field plus 3 years of experience in Application Development, or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or related field plus 6 years of experience in Application Development, or related experience.

Skills required:Must have experience with object-oriented software, design and development of applications. Must have application development experience using Java, J2EE, JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Oracle and PL/SQL. Must have experience designing and implementing workflows using JBPM. Must have experience developing business rules using Drools. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Agile and Test-Driven development methodologies. Must have experience using automation tools like JUnit, Shell scripts. Must have experience developing messaging services using IBM MQ, JMS. Must have experience developing User Interface with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Must have experience using Scheduling tool Autosys.
