Duties: Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications to satisfy business requirements. Coordinate with product management and vendors to gather requirements. Analyze business, system, and non-functional requirements. Write batch applications to migrate data from legacy platform to new platform. Utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques. Perform software troubleshooting and monitor functions for a high transaction rate and low to zero downtown based applications. Support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems. Identify, track, and resolve various problems with the integration of internal and external systems. Support onboarding and integration of third party applications with the system.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Management, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Software Designer, Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following skills: J2EE; XML; JMS; JAX-WS; Spring Framework; OOP and SOA principles and design patterns; JUnit; Integrated Development Environments (“IDE”); REST and SOAP web services; Open source frameworks; SQL Stored Procedures on DB2 or Oracle; Scripting; and Linux and Aix environments. This position requires four (4) years of experience with each of the following skills: Batch schedulers; CXF; and TDD.
