Duties: Responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, modifying and maintaining of ETL based software applications under for Supervisory Controls in WM Technology. Analyze requirements and integrate application components. Performance software application maintenance and testing. Develop and enhance large Data warehouses for trading data and understand the entity relationship and dimensional modelling concepts. Extract, Transform and Load data primarily using tools like Informatica to develop highly efficient batch process that is well-documented. Map data elements from business requirements to RDBMS tables. Develop data flows diagrams, data models and data design specifications for managing RDMS based products like Oracle, Sybase. Work on sourcing data from global Trading platforms and external upstream systems and load into Actimize Data Mart (UDM) using Data Warehousing concepts like Facts and Dimensions.Utilize agile methodology and adhere to secure coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. Create and develop data definition language (DDL) and data modification language (DML) scripts and define roll back plans for releasing database changes to production. Adhere to ETL design, architecture standards, risk management and security policies. Fine tune Informatica Power Center (ETL) workflows to load data efficiently without breaching the service SLA for batch process. Work on optimizing the AutoSys jobs to comply with scheduling best practices as per company standards. Create oracle table partitions and perform PL/SQL performance tuning and suggested possible changes in Indexes to improve query performance. Work with users to understand business requirements and work with other technology stake holders for delivery of new supervision controls. Identify and communicate potential impacts of a change and issues. Work on resolving production defects, responsible for upstream issues or upstream SLA’s.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years of experience as an Application Developer, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: ETL tools like Informatica to create complex load data from various upstream sources; database performance tuning skills to optimize SQL queries used for model runs; ETL based development tools like Informatica or Pentaho to extract, transform, and load data; ETL concepts, Data Warehouse, Data Mart and UNIX based infrastructure; build complex data load pipeline with multiple file dependencies; and relational database experience working with Data warehouses using products like Oracle 12c or Sybase. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: create UNIX shells scripts to invoke workflows and validate feed files. This position requires two (2) years of experience with scheduling tools like AutoSys or Control-M.
