Duties: Design and build core distributed system, quorum and blockchain components to meet protocol requirements and advances in the distributed ledger technology domain, as well as business applications. Collaborate with core engineering teams and open source community. Implement testing practices to ensure security and performance goals of blockchain infrastructure. Design and implement blockchain supporting tools and utilities. Implement monitoring and testing practices to ensure security and performance goals of blockchain infrastructure. Design and verify cryptographic protocols deployed in the blockchain.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Java Programmer, Research and Development Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following: Application design analysis and development; Writing distributed systems and concurrent programs; Continuous integration development and configuration; Continuous delivery configuration and automation; Test driven development; Writing testing frameworks and unit tests; and Design patterns and best programming practices.
