As a senior leader in Software Engineering, you will have years of proven expertise to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices, and a passion for working with others to continually improve development practices and product quality.
You’ll work with inquisitive teams of technologists who will vary with their knowledge and practices helping to evolve the JPMC private cloud. With your deep knowledge of software design, coding and testing you will coach teams to embrace a culture of quality, as well as satisfying business, functional and non-functional requirements.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including some of:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Test driven approach to software development, you embrace TDD
Follow the coding principles of Clean Code
Advanced knowledge of SDLC
High proficiency in developer tooling
Experienced in modern programming languages, such as Java, Python or Go
Advanced knowledge of architecture & design disciplines
Experience in developing consistent & resilient API’s
Thorough understanding and experience of Agile software development practices
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Ability to mentor other members of your team in technical and non-technical. To lead joint code review sessions, planning sessions and other team ceremonies
High emotional intelligence; able to work effectively and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders
