The Global Cash Equities Technology Group supports a well-established major business unit in the JPMorgan Investment Bank. Our group is responsible for

providing a true multi-asset Electronic Trading application stack covering multiple lines of business across Electronic Client Solutions, Delta 1, Program Trading and Single Stock.

About the role

The Equities Execution Services Technology department is looking for a SRE Team Lead in the low latency Electronic Trading environment. The role will be based in New York, and will entail both working closely with the New York Business and our Global partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience including but not limited to;

Monitoring & Management of Plant Capacity

Management of Continuous Release Environment and Prod Promotion

Conducting post Incident Reviews

Management of SRE teams, stakeholder communication and prioritization

Further advancing the Automated Testing environment

DevOps / Integration activities

Production support and release management

Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading

Understands market data distribution

Linux: understands the OS architecture, fluent user of the command line, can fluently speak either Perl or Python, UNIX scripting, Java

Experience of Low Latency Environments

To be involved with all phases of Agile SDLC(unit testing, automated build, automated release, automated QA, Jenkins/Jules)
